What exactly does “sustainability” mean to you, the builder of new machinery?  What kind of carbon footprint is your equipment leaving and will it be allowed in the future?  What is happening now to change the way machinery must be built?  What standards do you absolutely HAVE to know before your design another machine?  What are your risks for not keeping updated on international regulations, laws and standards, and will metrics demonstrating savings on regulatory penalties, lost markets and other costs help educate management on the need to design equipment with an eye on future risks?
