We have investigated the magnetization dynamics of exchange-biased CoFe/FeMn/NiFe trilayer films by means of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) and magnetic transmission X-ray microscopy.? Magnetic anisotropies of the exchange-biased trilayer system have been analyzed by an angular-dependent FMR.? The FMR result implies that the uniaxial and unidirectional anisotropies coexist in the trilayer films, where the two anisotropies are not collinear with each other.? The noncollinear anisotropies seem to depend on the thickness of the antiferromagnetic FeMn spacer layer.? To further understand the magnetization dynamics behavior, an element-specific magnetic domain observation for the trilayer films at Co L3 and Ni L3 edges has been observed by X-ray microscopy, where the layer-resolved magnetic domain patterns for samples with different antiferromagnetic spacer layer thickness are found to be consistent with the prediction from FMR measurements.
